Who we are
Veriet is a strategic AI advisory for executive teams and boards, based in Brisbane, Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, business details) when you contact us, book a call, or engage us for work. We do not buy or sell personal data.
The site also collects aggregated usage data through Cloudflare Web Analytics: pages visited, referring page, device and browser type, and country derived from your IP address, which is not stored. The tool sets no cookies and does not identify you.
How we use it
To respond to enquiries, deliver services, and meet legal obligations. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing without consent.
Third parties and overseas disclosure
Two service providers handle personal information on our behalf, and both are based in the United States. FormSubmit relays contact form submissions (your name, email, organisation, and message) to our inbox. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes the analytics data described above. We do not disclose personal information to any other overseas recipient.
Storage and security
Enquiries and client records are held in Australia once they reach us. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold.
Your rights
You can request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@veriet.co. Complaints can be directed to us first, and to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if unresolved.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
